Pasture preservation is an important factor for livestock farming throughout Kenya and with climate change farmers have no option but find ways to help them preserve pasture for dry seasons. With unknown weather patterns it’s a good idea to cut and conserve extra grass as hay or silage for use in the dry season. Where possible farmers can also irrigate their grass.
