Welcome to Shamba Shape Up. This week we are in Githafai in Nyandarua county. We are visiting the young married couple Owen and Margaret who have been farming for a very long time. Margaret has been farming for 15 years and started to look at farming as a business five years ago and Owen grew up on his family farm. They are always looking at opportunities to increase their knowledge. Together they grow potato and maize and have ten dairy cows. During our visit to them we learn about: 1. How rip your land for planting potatoes using minimum tillage. 2. How make sense of changing climate 3. Calf Care. 4. Cooking with an air fryer.
